In October 2025, Müller succeeded António Félix da Costa in the Porsche works team – alongside the 2023/2024 Drivers' World Champion, Pascal Wehrlein. "I want to contribute as quickly as possible to ensuring the team can build on its recent successes," said the Swiss-born driver after the works team completed Porsche's Formula E title collection by winning the Manufacturers' and Teams' World Championships shortly before Müller's move.
Müller has been competing in Formula E since the 2019/2020 season, taking a break only for the 2021/2022 season. Müller brings extensive experience in single-seater racing from the early days of his motorsport career. He has also competed in numerous other racing series, including the FIA World Endurance Championship, the FIA World Rallycross Championship, and the DTM, where he finished runner-up in 2019 and 2020. Müller also celebrated overall victory at the Nürburgring 24 Hours in 2015.
