A New Era of Timekeeping

At the heart of Switzerland’s legendary watchmaking triangle, Porsche Design has opened its new timepieces manufactory.

The Freedom to Just Keep Going

Extreme swimmer and world-record holder Andy Donaldson has conquered just about every challenge the open ocean can offer. Now he’s spending nine days behind the wheel of a fully electric Macan 4S, crossing Australia’s vast outback before taking on his next feat: swimming a crocodile-infested river.

The End of the World Is Just the Beginning

Driving the entire Pan-American Highway – in just 100 days. That was the dream of Rainer Behrendt and Jan Bongers. In the spring of 2026, they set out on the journey of a lifetime in a Cayenne, covering more than 40,000 kilometers through 15 countries.

Showroom: 911 GT3 S/C

Porsche is unveiling a 911 GT3 with a fully automatic convertible top for the first time. In its Showroom article, Christophorus showcases details of this lightweight sports car designed for driving pleasure.

A Picture and Its Story

When Frenchman Louis Malavieille purchased a Porsche 356 in 1955, he was thinking of one thing only: a sports car adventure with his family. The spectacular road trip from Paris all the way to northern Scandinavia was forgotten over time, until a color photo from that summer reappeared not long ago.

Hunter and Hunted

While the factory team Porsche Penske Motorsport records success after success in the IMSA SportsCar Championship, customer team JDC-Miller MotorSports battles hard for every point with the third Porsche 963 in the field. A report from the 12 Hours of Sebring race.

The Winding River

With daring corners, luxurious villas, and a breathtaking landscape design, Magarigawa is Japan’s ultimate private racecourse. The Porsche GT Circle provided 20 drivers from nine countries with exclusive access to this work of art and embodiment of Japanese harmony.

A Time of Clarity

The 1980s marked the beginning of the evolution from an analog industrial world to digital modernity, which brought greater visibility to technology and established it as a lifestyle element. This decade continues to fascinate to this day. The car evolved into a conceptual embodiment of the time. In fact, Porsche’s transaxle models were a product of this mindset.

Heart and Courage

The transaxle concept positions the engine up front and the transmission at the back, with a rigid shaft connecting them. With the 924, Porsche made the bold decision 50 years ago to strike out in a new direction – technically, economically, and culturally. The design introduced a new sports car world alongside that of the 911, supporting the company through a period of transition.

A Sanctuary for the Soul

When they are in Langkawi, the Lims have a family ritual. They regularly go on drives together across the island. Their sports cars are not just vehicles to them. They are a symbol of community.

Illumination

They are iconic design features of the transaxle models: the pop-up headlights. How did the new design come about?

Dare to Dream

Célia Martin, Michelle Gatting, and Rahel Frey have had to fight hard to fulfill their dream of professional racing and want to inspire other women with their stories. Christophorus had the opportunity to accompany the three of them throughout the World Endurance Championship (WEC) season.

Power to the Max

Thanks to its electric drives, the Cayenne Electric boasts both remarkable and unexpected qualities. In the run-up to the world premiere, Christophorus takes a few laps on the Porsche Experience Center course in Leipzig.

Community Energy

Registro Italiano E-motion is the world’s first Porsche Club for all-electric sports cars. One weekend in September, 131 participants and 73 electric vehicles set out on the club’s first-ever road trip – to Hans-Peter Porsche’s Traumwerk museum just outside of Salzburg – launching a new era of Porsche community.

The Perfect Choice

The 911 Dakar was the first Porsche ever to participate in the notorious Rally dos Sertões. The Piotto Vogts even drove it all the way to the starting line and used the roof tent as a mobile hotel.

Optimal Testing

Porsche exclusively used digital testing for the all-electric Cayenne until the pre-production vehicles were available. However, the human factor remains essential: In the final test-drives, the drivers pushed the SUV to its limits – in icy cold and blistering heat.

From Daytona to Le Mans:

The Best Chances

With the world of racing experiencing a global boom, the timing for F1 The Movie couldn’t have been any better. The blockbuster with Brad Pitt in the leading role delivers outstanding authenticity. Porsche plays a key role in Joseph Kosinski’s full-throttle film – both behind and in front of the camera.

Electric beginnings:

Continuity as a Principle

Around the turn of the twentieth century, engineer Ferdinand Porsche established a technological and entrepreneurial philosophy that is still consistently pursued to this day. The company owes its long-term success to staying true to its origins.

Between Heaven and Earth

Flight captain, instructor, speaker: Cordula Pflaum has made it to the top – namely, to the cockpit at Lufthansa. The experienced pilot lives out her passion for powerful engines not only above the clouds, but also behind the wheel of her Macan GTS.

Adrenaline Rush

Star DJ David Guetta, a gigantic solar park, a brilliant laser show – and at the heart of it all a Macan Turbo and Taycan Turbo GT. Those are the ingredients of the campaign film Speed of Light. Christophorus takes a look behind the scenes.

Exhilaration

A total of 44 days and 5,476 kilometers – a unique road trip along the 30th parallel. Porsche took on this challenge with new Cayenne and Macan models tailored to the needs of Chinese customers.

The Future of Tokyo Driving

Ted Gushue is a pioneer of the digital age and Porsche enthusiast – with an affinity for Japan. For Christophorus, he travels to Tokyo as an author and meets his friend Norihiro Tacamizuma, with whom he shares a passion for sports cars. On a night drive in the 911 GT3 RS (997) and the Macan Turbo, he discovers the city with new eyes. An essay.

The Sepia Effect

Collector and racer Richard Raimist’s lifelong love affair with Porsche began with a highly unusual 911 T Targa in Sepia Brown.
